We joined the exodus out of California into Texas. Moving out of state is quite the undertaking because we did not know anyone. We are “private clients” of a large bank but when the loan officer saw that my husband is self-employed, he hemmed and hawed so I decided we were going to take our business elsewhere. Thanks to previous reviews from other clients, we found Thrive Mortgage. We couldn’t be happier with the whole process. Kudos to Patty and her team for a smooth and seamless transaction!

It seemed after the initial telephone meeting with Pattie, that’s where the communication pretty much ended. We have purchased several homes in the past and always had very good communication between the lenders and us. Not so much this time. We locked our rate too soon so we had to go back and do an extension which costed more. The CD had to be reworked several times as it did not correctly reflect our earnest monies and other costs we paid. It was finally correct and we closed.

Going above and beyond to make sure everything was a smooth transition.

The underwriter on this loan was absolutely absurd!! I understand needing information on me but for a week and a half it was something everyday! Make an all inclusive list and give it to the applicant at one time. I’ll never get in that position again!! And then ask for something my broker could not furnish! Unbelievable!!
