“10/10 service!!!! Wade and his team went above and beyond to make sure we closed on our home. With a few hiccups and hurdles in the last hour they did navigate each step efficiently. I would definitely recommend them to assist with anyone looking to obtain a loan. Thank you 👍🏼”
Before the MU4!
Preparing for Your MU4 Transfer: What You Need to Know
By now, you’ve completed the "New Hire Request" and have likely heard from our Head of Onboarding, Victoria Almedina. If not, you’ll soon receive several emails outlining the onboarding process. Below is everything you need to get ready for the next steps. Take your time to complete each one, and let’s set you up for success!
Pre-Onboarding Checklist
Before your official onboarding, please ensure you’ve completed the following steps:
NMLS Access
On your onboarding day, you’ll need to grant Mpire access to your NMLS account for a seamless transition. We've provided a step-by-step guide in the sidebar to walk you through this process when the time comes.
Mpire Email Setup
Log in to your Mpire email if you haven’t already.
- Sign in at: gmail.com
- Username and password: Provided in your onboarding email.
Trainual Modules
Complete all Trainual modules at 100% using the invitation sent to your Mpire email. These modules will give you all the knowledge you need to get up to speed with Mpire’s processes and culture.
Paycor Payroll Setup
Make sure to finalize your payroll setup by following the Paycor instructions sent to your Mpire email.
ROAM Virtual Office Setup
Our onboarding will take place in ROAM, our virtual office platform. To prepare:
- Download ROAM: ROAM Download
- Set up your account using the invitation you should have received (or will soon receive). We also recommend downloading the mobile app for added convenience. Familiarize yourself with ROAM by watching the training video linked in the sidebar.
Additionally, make sure to gather your I-9 documents (passport OR driver’s license AND Social Security Card) to present during your live onboarding session.
Need Help with Your Resignation?
If you need guidance on how to resign professionally, the Resignation Guidance for Mortgage Loan Officers document is available in the sidebar. It includes a resignation script, letter template, and tips for handling counteroffers to help ensure a smooth transition. Be sure to review it, and let us know if you have any questions!
What If You Are Bringing Operational Staff With You?
If you are bringing operational staff along with you, please make sure to watch the video that provides important details on this process. This will help ensure a smooth transition for both you and your staff. If you are not bringing any staff with you, feel free to disregard this section entirely.
All About You Questionnaire
Before your start date, please complete the "All About You" questionnaire, available in the sidebar. This helps us learn more about you and what makes you unique. We’re excited to get to know you better!
Working with the Transition Team
If you have any clients who need assistance before your official hire date and state license approval, you'll work with the transition team. It’s essential to understand this process so you can set the right expectations with your clients and referral partners.
Before the MU4 Questionnaire
This questionnaire will take some time to complete but provides a valuable look into your current business. Depending on your responses, you may receive some "homework" to help optimize your business practices.
What to Expect on Onboarding Day
Onboarding will take place live in ROAM at your scheduled time. Important: Trainual must be 100% complete for you to attend the session. Any delay in completing Trainual may result in a delay in your onboarding and origination process.
On onboarding day, you’ll meet with Victoria Almedina in the Onboarding Check-In Lobby. During this meeting, you’ll:
- Present your I-9 documents (please have them physically with you for a quick ID check on camera).
- Confirm your NMLS license information.
- Finalize your Paycor setup.
- Receive additional resources, including a recorded onboarding video.
P.S.: If anything differs from what’s outlined here, please let me know. Your feedback helps us keep everything up-to-date and accurate for future team members!
